In a bid to transform Nigeria’s agribusiness landscape, Devbulb Data and Motofa Resources Limited have announced a strategic partnership. This collaboration will provide comprehensive data-driven solutions and media strategy services to investors and businesses operating in the Nigerian market.
According to Fatima Muktar, Executive Director of Devbulb Data, the partnership addresses the long-standing challenge of data accessibility in agribusiness.
“Our services provide agribusiness data that enables business impact with lower operational costs and environmental benefits. Indeed, this business grew out of the need to find solution to the challenge of data inaccessibility encountered during agribusiness trade,” Muktar said.
The CEO noted that in today’s fast-paced business environment, data not only helps chart a new course towards sustainable agriculture, but also assists businesses to stay ahead of the competition curve.
Her words: “Data is so key; it can help chart a new course towards sustainable agriculture. Moreover, leveraging data is key to staying ahead. Through our services, we help forward-thinking companies to unlock the true potential of data by turning trends and insights into actionable strategies.”
Muktar emphasized the importance of robust and transparent data in agribusiness decision-making, pointing out that data helps prioritize actions, achieve goals and make clearer agricultural decisions.
She, however, stated that in order for food companies and other stakeholders to achieve their aims, they would need to leverage data insights that support potential investment, as “incorporating data perspectives into the agrifood supply chain provides actionable insights for industry leaders.”
Mohammed Tofa, Executive Director of Motofa Resources Limited, emphasized the importance of data-driven decision-making in agribusiness. According to him, while traditional approaches to agribusiness often rely on past information or assumptions, a more robust approach involves leveraging data insights to drive success.
“Agricultural data can be vast and complex, but understanding it is essential for determining production levels and optimizing supply chains,” he said.
