ESV HON. ABDUL-AKEEM EJALONIBU AMODU PAYS COURTESY VISIT TO LAGOS STATE COMMISSIONER OF POLICE

In a move to enhance security in Alimosho and Lagos State at large, ESV Hon. Abdul-Akeem Ejalonibu Amodu recently paid a courtesy visit to the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Olanrewaju Ishola. The visit underscored the critical importance of maintaining peace and security in key areas of Alimosho and the state as a whole.
During the visit, Hon. Ejalonibu commended the Commissioner for the impressive level of peace and serenity experienced in Lagos since his assumption of duty. “The tranquility we have witnessed under your leadership is commendable,” he said, adding, “but like Oliver Twist, we are requesting for more—a complete sense of peace and harmony.”
In his response, CP Olanrewaju Ishola expressed gratitude for the visit, emphasizing the importance of collaboration between the police and stakeholders. He reaffirmed the commitment of the Lagos State Police Command to sustaining peace and improving security across the state.
The Commissioner urged stakeholders to remain vigilant and proactive in reporting suspicious activities. “Stakeholders must be security-conscious and raise an alarm whenever they notice unusual movements in their neighborhoods,” he advised.
The meeting ended with both men reaffirming their commitment to a safer and more secure Lagos. They agreed to combine resources and efforts to ensure that Lagos continues to uphold the standards of a 21st-century city in terms of safety and security.
This visit highlights the importance of partnership between government representatives and security agencies in fostering a peaceful and secure environment for all residents. Through continued collaboration, Lagos remains poised to achieve greater stability and tranquility for its communities.
